HOW WE WORK

MAKE SURE ALL ITEMS MEET THE ABOVE CRITERIA, TO AVOID ITEMS BEING COURIERED BACK TO YOU (AT YOUR OWN COST)
Items will go through a strict quality control procedure on receipt. The kaNiNi team will evaluate and select clothing at their own discretion.
An offer will be made for the box as a whole (for the items meeting the criteria) within 2 weeks.
The box should at least include 15 items, meeting the criteria (very important)
If too few items meet the criteria we deserve the right to reject the whole box. The clothing will regretfully be couriered back to you at your own cost.
When sending us your pre-loved items, kaNiNi will cover R50 of the initial courier cost with The Courier Guy. kaNiNi will pay the full amount and subtract your part of the courier fees from the final pay-out when purchasing your items.

kaNiNi will consider the quality, name brand, original price of the item as well the categories and styles which may be in demand at the time.
You will be paid more if the item still has the original price tag on or if the item is a “wish list” item for buyers.
To get an idea of what you can expect to receive for your goods, the following can be used:
- Tracksuit tops meeting the criteria between R20-R50.
- Dresses between R40 and R70.
- Pants R25-R50.
Once an agreement has been made, kaNiNi will EFT the money to you within 1-2 weeks from receipt of goods.
- Alternatively you can request payment in the form of store credit in our online store.
If an item in your box does not meet the selection criteria. The options are:
- Have the items couriered back to you at your own cost (via The Courier Guy)
- Sell the item to kaNiNi for a minimal amount (typically R10). We will then channel the items to ladies in our community to sell at a profit for themselves.

At kaNiNi, we pride ourselves on attention to detail., to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

what we buy

We buy all designer and boutique baby and children's wear brands. This would include brand names such as Naartjie, Earthchild, Keedo, Sticky Fudge, Cotton on, H&M, Annapatat, etc.).

we do not accept

We DO NOT accept Value retail brands such as PnP, Jet, Ackermans, Mr Price, etc. and reserve the right to decline any items of this or similar outlets.

CRITERIA FOR CLOTHING

Clothes must be and smell clean (freshly washed). We wont be washing/ironing items before selling. This would also include the smell of moth balls or smoke.
Free from marks, stains, excessive wear, fading, pilling, holes, snags, tears or stretch marks.
Pet hair free.
Complete and no missing fasteners, zips, snaps, buttons, or ties.
Unaltered, and not homemade.
By an original manufacturer, not counterfeit or a copy.
In line with current trends – even if an item still has a tag, it wont be accepted if not the current trend.
Clothing that shows clear signs of excessive wear and/or with tears, stains, holes, pilling, fading, shrinkage, missing buttons, broken zips, cracked logos or damaged seams.
Underwear, used socks, bibs, toys, blankets and bathwear.
Clothes without a size label.
